Cookie Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Some are essential for a website to function; others are used for analytics or advertising. Eventorya keeps its use of cookies to a minimum.

2. Cookies we use

Eventorya uses a single strictly necessary cookie, set only when someone signs in to the admin dashboard. It stores an authenticated session (via Supabase Auth) so that an organizer does not have to log in again on every page. This cookie is technical and essential to the admin area — it does not track you across other websites and is not used for advertising or analytics.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party tracking or analytics cookies anywhere on eventorya.com or on individual event invitation pages.

3. Third-party content: event location maps

If an event organizer adds a location with a Google Maps link, the event page embeds a Google Maps view for that address. Loading this embedded map is a request to Google, and Google may set its own cookies as part of that, independently of Eventorya. This only happens on event pages where the organizer has added a map, and is outside our control — see Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.

4. No consent banner

Because the only cookie we set ourselves is strictly necessary for signing in to the admin dashboard, Eventorya does not display a cookie consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements under EU ePrivacy rules.

5. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Note that blocking the admin session cookie will prevent signing in to the Eventorya dashboard; it has no effect on public event or invitation pages, which do not use it.

6. Changes to this policy

If Eventorya starts using additional cookies in the future (for example, analytics), this page will be updated accordingly and, if required, a consent mechanism will be introduced beforehand.
